PB/Description: A young man with yellow-orange eyes and platinum-blonde, almost basically white, hair, that's tied back into a long ponytail. He usually hides his ears, which can be rather more pointed than normal human ears, and he has sizable canines that can generally be quite a shock for people to see, which... while he finds them annoying sometimes, they're great for when he needs to use his Intimidation stat.
Personality: Comparatively to another who shares his name, Yaku is pretty... Rash, but that rashness comes from a deep self-confidence in what he does and what he can do. Effectively: He's very aware of his physical abilities and has a good gauge on how far he can push himself, and as a result, he is assured that when a task is put in front of him, he knows he can do it and handle it.
Another aspect of his personality is that he is loyal to a fault. If he finds someone who wants to protect or follow, he has an almost stubborn and undying desire to follow them and help them, even at risk for himself. It's... really, really hard to deter him from this.
The third major aspect, however, is that he's a bit dumb. No, not book-dumb or even socially dumb. He doesn't act like an idiot-- but he has an almost insane denial of what he is, thinking of himself as simply being human. This isn't the case, obviously enough, but even if you were to point out everything about him, about his heritage, ect... he'd still think of himself as a regular human being. Bizarrely enough though, he has no problem recognizing supernatural events and beings, as long as they're outside of himself.
History: As it may be obvious: Yaku here is an alternate of the "Yaku, Hitoshi" who is a dhampir-- a child born of a vampire and a human-- only Yaku isn't that. Instead, he's specifically a Hokkaido Wolf, which are wolves who took on human form from leftover reverence from humans, to avoid being driven to extinction. Of course, this is what his ancestors did, and he himself has grown up fairly normal... at least until his world started getting tilted and began to vanish, as though the seams were falling apart, being a reality that couldn't sustain itself.

However, he was pulled through the gaps of that world, be it out of generosity, or some other form of manipulations, and was told that he should go and find the one who "shares his name and face" and challenge them.

Not that he fully understands the implications of this, but he feels at the least, if it means he won't end up falling apart too, just like his world.

... He's kinda sore that his world might be gone, and he was offered no promises that his actions will cause anyone but himself to survive. But maybe it's his instincts talking, but... if he at least survives, then that's enough, right?
Abilities: As basically a wolfman, he has incredible instincts and senses (able to sniff out and track someone, coupled with human-like persistence hunting), a high level of physical strength and agility, and appears to be powered up specifically when the moon is out at night. He's also pretty much able to see in the dark very clearly.
This does make him more nocturnal than others would be, and he can get to be a bit lethargic in the daylight, or when the new moon cycle is going on. He's liable to snap at someone if they bug him while he's trying to rest, and with those teeth of his, it's up in the air of "snap" is literal or not.
